Depressing view of college admissions

A 20% acceptance rate equals an 80% rejection rate. It’s depressing when 8 out of 10 people are rejected from a school :'(

Survival of the fittest. Deal with it.

There are happier statistics out there about people receiving admission into their first or second choice if you feel like hunting that down. I look at the glass as 1/5 full, not 4/5 empty. Optimism wins.

but most of those people have lower stats than you so you’re good

“but most of those people have lower stats than you so you’re good”

how do you know that? prove it

no .

lol 20% is a good admin rate.

However, the overlapping of many college applications per person leads to most people getting into a school that generally fits them…

Uhmmmmmmm.
Don’t apply to a school with a 20% acceptance rate if it disturbs you so much. =)

20% is a really high admittance rate, what’s the problem?

^Woot MINNESOTAN!

Not all 80% are rejected.

Some are waitlisted :)
