Detention impact on college acceptance

I’m in a French international school in Vietnam. I got in detention twice in 9th grade. Once for forgetting my gym clothes and one other because I came late to the first one. Both by the gym teacher, both 4 hours each. The same teacher kicked me out of class for 2 hours because I spoke LITERALLY 2 sentences in Vietnamese.

I wonder how big is this stain on my college application? Thank you.

it will not even be mentioned.

But I saw this on last year’s commonapp application for:

“Have you ever been found responsible for a disciplinary violation at any educational institution you have attended from the 9th grade (or the international equivalent)
forward, whether related to academic misconduct or behavioral misconduct, that resulted in a disciplinary action? These actions could include, but are not limited
to: probation, suspension, removal, dismissal, or expulsion from the institution.”

What does this mean?

detention is not on the list.
probation is “exclu-inclus” or “inclusion”, suspension is “exclusion”, “removal” is "exclusion apr

Thank you for the info!

Haha, detention for 4 hours for forgetting gym clothes? And I thought my high school’s policies were ridiculous. Don’t worry about it, even if it gets mentioned, the admissions officers won’t pay much attention to it. Honestly, would you reject good applicants on the basis that they forgot gym clothes?
