my lums online account says this:
Admission Status: Denied
What does this mean? I haven’t received any letter though.I appplied in both Humanities and Business school. Olevels: 2A,5As and 1B, SAT 1240, Alevel Transcript 3As and a A. Does that mean that now I have no chance or can I still be at the wait list?
I remember LUMS clearly; I was fourteen years old and it was the first time I had a beer in a restaurant. The waitress was young too, maybe eighteen, if that. She was very pretty and had a really nice smile. I imagine she wondered if she should be serving me alcohol, but it was Coconut Grove in the seventies so no one cared. I forget now what food I ordered, but it was probably a hot dog because I liked their hot dogs. Anyway, I Googled just now what happened to them. Apparently the chain was sold in 1978 to a new owner who overextended himself and had to file for bankruptcy. Too bad.
@heyaxe If you applied to both the Humanities and Business schools, maybe the online notice is just for one of them. Contact them and ask if they can confirm the status of each of your applications. Good luck!
