I didn’t. Relatively new i-phone 8, turned on, works fine otherwise. My provider is A T & T.
Yes, but someone in my office didn’t get it.
Yep, scared the daylights out of me!
I did, but the person I was meeting with didn’t. We decided that the Presidential Alert was only for saving old white men (which I was, and she wasn’t).
I got it on my phone and on TV.
Our whole office was full of vibrating phones. I think it might have gone over better if they’d just called it something else…
DH says he got it.
yes we did (verizon). And ~20 minutes later, we got an alert thru our cable provider.
I got it on my iPhone 6s—neither white not male. I have TMobile.
I forgot to toggle the alert switch to “on.”
If you have an iPhone and want to receive emergency alerts, check your settings.
-Go to Settings > Notifications.
-Scroll to the very bottom of the screen.
-Under Government Alerts, turn the alert(s) on.
H also got a notice on his Android—oneplus6.
I did not get one. Y’all keep me posted when the *hit hits the fan, okay?

Yes, I did (AT&T). The whole office started buzzing at once. One woman kept getting repeat messages.
Yep.
I checked my settings and notifications were turned on.
I googled this and see that others didn’t get the alert either. I guess if I see masses of hysterical people running around, I’ll just ask someone what is up.
I just read it was supposed to bypass the alert setting on the iPhone.
I didn’t get it either but my husband and sons all did.
I guess they only sent it to males.
I got the old white man alert, LOL.
Thank god no!!! Would we be allowed to respond with personal thoughts??
@chercheur and @Nrdsb4 – we must be on the do-not-alert list, lol. I checked twitter and there 's pretty funny stuff going around. One said “Everyone who did not get the alert is no longer a US citizen. Plan accordingly.” :-S
@JHS I got it (Verizon) but I’m a middle aged white woman … but now that I think of it, the phone bill is in H’s name!
