^glad you’re having a good time.

On the PB cup front, like idad, I could down them in a single sitting. Which is why I’m amazed that I’ve held true with my “one from the basket as a treat” so far this week.
Years ago when I did South Beach, I took to the notion of training yourself to just enjoy one planned little chocolate treat after dinner if you must…but didn’t think I could pull it off with Reese’s ;)

Since last night’s dinner took 40 min to bake, I had what’s for me a pretty aggressive core and kb workout including a full few sets of single deadlift and multiple sets of the plank roll. I must say I’m feeling it this a.m. Hot tub awaits ;)

Did a 7 mile walk today–love the Map my Run app! Got to my house and I was .2 miles short of 7, so I just walked a bit up the road to get in 7 miles. Yoga class at 3 pm. Doing advanced beginner.

Wow, that’s a hefty walk - good for you.

It’s beautiful outside here today - I’m sure there aren’t too many 60 degree days left this year. Planning on a walk (probably not 7 miles!) after work.

3.25 mile treadmill run followed by a couple of intervals (8.0, 8.5 mph)

Wow, Deborah. Some serious speed! I’d be doing a George Jetson…“Jane…get me off this crazy thing!” Nice mileage on the walk, Bromfield. I frequently do the same to get to a nice even number.

Not sure what I’m going to do for a workout today.

Deborah- you are getting FAST!!! I would have been spit off the back of the thing!

Made a mistake today. Even after being a runner for 35 years! Had a breakfast seminar so didn’t get to run this morning so I ran at lunch. I was thirsty to start, and didn’t take the time to get a drink. There is a water fountain about a mile into this route, so I figured I would get a drink. Well, it’s turned off for the winter. Problem was that it is 75 and sunny today. I was hot, thirsty and dehydrated. HR was high. Struggled through 5 1/2 miles. At least it’s done.

The only thing I did was skipping raisons in my cereal. I am having a tough time limiting sugar to 30g a day.

6 miles walking for me so far today. 3 miles in a drizzle to the capitol while sipping my morning starbucks. Libelous says hi.

Then 3 miles back by way of the Smithsonian American history museum. Chopped for salad lunch.

Meeting d at her work then bus to her house and concert tonight at Howard theater.

I’m so glad the evil project(s) at work is winding down! I need to start training for my next race. :)

Hmm, speaking of Halloween candy and trick or treat, Huffington Post has a story on a North Dakota woman who plans to hand out “fat letters” to children she thinks are “moderately obese” instead of candy. That takes fat shaming to a whole new level, IMHO.

Oh and no candy for me. It’s easier when the candy is in New Hampshire and I’m not…

Thank you. Sometimes I enjoy doing speedy little sprints. Not very far though!

Sabaray, ugh. I vote for the woman turning her light off instead.

Disclaimer: Much though I like sweets I’ve never been a Twinkie person. Did anybody see the headline about the new deep fried Twinkie burgers? Not tempted…

iDad, enjoy the Neko Case concert with your daughter tonight.

Did you check the sugar in your salad, iDad? :D

[We Live In A World Where Salads Have More Sugar Than Donuts](<a href=“We Live In A World Where Salads Have More Sugar Than Donuts | HuffPost Impact”>We Live In A World Where Salads Have More Sugar Than Donuts | HuffPost Impact)

Me too, Deborah. I just think that’s cruel.

What is in (or on) that salad, I wonder?

I’ll have my 20 grams of sugar in the form of Ben and Jerry’s or Godiva, please.

Many sauces and dressings have boatloads of corn syrup or sugar, that’s why I usually stick to oil and vinegar, or sometimes I toss my salad with a sliced, very ripe avocado, which makes the salad taste and look like it has some dressing added to it. :)

Thai salad dressing has big time sugar and vinegar.

I’m sure my fast food salad had sugar, but probably not too bad. CAESA dressing is not one of the bad ones. In any case, it was my first bite of the day at 1:30 after five miles of walking, a capitol tour, and a museum. I was hungry…

Have to give you a little grief, iDad. Article made me think of the folks that say “I only had salad for lunch, I don’t know why I’m not losing weight”.

4 miles. Next on the agenda, major puppy proofing. The new family member arrives THIS weekend instead of next.

Wow, Deborah, that is lightning speed! Cool. :)

That woman with her fat letters must be a witch!

Here is an interesting article worth sharing:
[Yahoo Shine - 7 Weird Reasons You’re Tired All the Time](<a href=“7 Weird Reasons You're Tired All the Time”>http://shine.yahoo.com/healthy-living/7-weird-reasons-youre-tired-time-144300903.html#!mXs8T)

Makes sense. I only had to laugh at “pee every 3 hours” - ha! Like I can do this at work. Lol.

New puppy! How exciting! (But glad your house and not mine!!). We recused ours past puppy stage.

2mile walk in a local park - it was 65 and the trees and lease were breathtaking. Halloween rain and wind storm on its way for tomorrow.

Halloween is postponed here until Friday night. Seriously. Because it’s supposed to rain. Well, maybe not just rain. Maybe tornadoes or strong winds. So all plans are changed and I wonder if it will even be bad weather. I don’t remember Halloween being moved when I was growing up! (But we walked 5 miles a day uphill both ways to school, right?)
