And you don’t have to pick between hoodie, and no hoodie - it has a sort of cowl neck that allows you to pull it up into a hoodie - also has thumbholes. Inside is fleece, and I love the kangaroo pocket.

Teal green ordered (the first link). Once again, iDad costs me money! I love that weight fleece and this is a prettier color than what I have.
Teri- that Costco top looks nice! I wouldn’t run with the cowl neck, but it would be cute over leggings.

I have run this race (well, I did the half and my daughter did the full) and it is a low key, wonderful event all in the battlefield just outside Chattanooga. I can not BELIEVE this woman had the nerve to cheat and claim the victory. It’s all over the running news, since her splits were so absurd that she was quickly busted.

Wow. I have no words. If you are hell bent on cheating, at least cheat believably! Glad that someone pays attention to times and splits, and thank goodness for timing chips.

Nothing worse than a Runner cheat. (Maybe a golf cheat!) The internet imakes it easy to fact check. My competitive nature causes me to fact check folks when I’m suspicious of times!

I’m trying to figure out what that runner did to cheat at Chickamauga. It’s 2 loops, basically. I suspect she headed out on the 2nd loop, decided to bail, and turned around but crossed the finish line anyway.

Tip off for running cheats is when I hear the key words “around” or “under”. As in I’ve run a 5k in around 19 minutes or I’ve run a marathon in under 3 hours. Runners KNOW their times.

^^^^^Oprah Winfrey and her friend Gayle King once crashed a wedding when they were doing their cross country road trip by car. People thought they were impersonators and kept asking Oprah who she really was. She finally began to get irritated and said “I’m OPRAH WINFREY!!!” The father of the bride asked her “What was your marathon time?’” She answered him with her exact time and he said, “Oh My God, you ARE Oprah Winfrey!”

I have such a hard time keeping up with this thread. So much good info and it moves so fast. Just here to report that I have now purchased the LL Bean hoody in blue. Thanks for the link!

I’ve never ordered from Backcountry before, but I think I’ve heard of it (I’d still be double checking that one, too). The one with “edge” is new to me.
