Heck, I live in Florida and Just Another western Carib cruise sounds divine  !!!

Page pressure is sending my fingers to the keyboard for the Lulu site yet again. Pumpkin pie remainders have gone to the garbage; 4 miles running, some weights and stretching followed by a two mile walk yesterday.

Cardio (bike and arc machine) + weights this morning. I’ve been getting to the gym earlier than previously, and like it better – I don’t feel as if the morning is shot when I get home.

It looked like the stores had quite a few of the pink ones. I have been spending like crazy…

If anyone is a fan of Merrell, RuLaLa has it today as one of their boutiques. Lots of cute athletic dresses, jackets, coats, and much more!

Back in the pool. I always feel tougher on the cold days.

I don’t even see this year’s fluff/puff pullover (hooded) on the website right now. I might be missing it. I see last year’s with the fabric arms. This year’s are definitely on sale in the stores.

It’s in the “We Made Too Much” section. Only navy or black, sizes 4,6 and 12. I just don’t want to risk $99 on the 6 if it ends up being too small in the hips. Guess I’d better measure my hips when I get home.

Thank you, MOfWC!!! I am glad the last year’s version is back in new colors!!! Getting one. This year’s Fluff is already in the We Made Too Much section:

Is the one w/fabric arms the one you all liked from before? Or is it the Fluff Off jacket?

I have the Fluff Off jacket in white from last year and I love it. My yellow pullover is from 2 years ago and does not have a hood, but does have the underarm zippers. I feel like the fabric is a little softer than this year’s version.
Sabaray- Maybe you should order the size 8. I know I wouldn’t mind it being big. The 6 just fits me, and I’m 5’4". 114 pounds, if that helps at all.

Managed to maintain my weight with being off work last week and enjoyed the Thanksgiving holidays so that’s a victory for me. DH and I ran in the Drumstick Dash on Thanksgiving morning (4.5 mile race). We both had fast times, I’m sure mostly because it was cold and snowing. Then drove 3 hours to his family’s get-together and spend a couple days there. Glad to be back at work and back into a regular routine this week.

Abasket - thanks for the info on the Eddie Bauer fleeces. Between my visit to their store at the outlet mall last week and some Black Friday online shopping, I thought EB had all the money they were going to get from me this year. But $19.99 it quite a bargain so all the guys are getting the fleeces for Christmas. I was pleasantly surprised that the price was the same for the Tall version.

Hoping to run tonight if the sleet lets up. Ho ho ho.

I called the store closest to me. They do have the fluffed up pullover in the 6 in pink. They won’t hold it for me though and I can’t get to the store until Friday :(. They have 2, maybe they will have one in stock when I can get there.

Did an hour on the bike today. It’s amazing how much more enjoyable it was with negligible wind. It was cold, but I can tolerate that much better than windy! Worked up a nice sweat in spite of the cold. Came back and took the dog for a walk and wasn’t able to stay nearly as warm.

Worked out with trainer today–did 30 burpees (thought I would die) plus a bunch of planks, squats and core work. Daughter is here with her new puppy (very adorable) and the two of us took the puppy on a walk to a local dog park. Didn’t see too many dogs but got in a 2 mile walk.

Santa needs help! My daughter commutes by bus/subway and foot in DC and is one of those typical “youngsters” who wears soaking wet sneakers in the snow/slush/rain. She perked up when she saw my waterproof low cut hiking shoes, so I’m thinking this might be a possible Santa gift. Big step up from Marshall’s sneakers. Not something she’d buy for herself…

She’s not a hiker/runner, so the typical outdoorsy look of the LLBean, Keens, Merrills, etc. probably wouldn’t be ideal. What do the female fashionistas think of these waterproof low-cut Ahnu’s in teal:

[Ahnu Sugarpine Waterproof](http://a9.zassets.com/images/z/2/7/2/9/8/2/2729821-3-4x.jpg)
[YouTube

I’m thinkin’ they might be a big hit, but I’m just a guy! Heck, I wish they made a men’s version!

She hates higher mid-cut boots or I would go with the taller version, which is about the cutest hiking boot I’ve ever seen:

Ahnu”>http://a1.zassets.com/images/z/2/3/4/2/7/3/2342735-p-4x.jpg]Ahnu mid-boot](<a href=“- YouTube”>- YouTube)

Ahnu’s are uber comfortable!!! - I can vouch for that!

I like those a lot, iDad. I would sure wear them. Will she not wear Uggs or something like that?

No Uggs, no boots. She does have a pair of rubber galoshes, but those must be awful for the kind of mileage she walks. For example, when I visited her, we walked from near the White House to a movie theater in Georgetown. She mostly wears sneakers for that kind of walking, but that has to mean soaking wet feet in the rain or slush or snow. One step into a puddle in sneaks and it’s wet, cold feet.

I think a pair of rain/snow “sneakers” would be a hit, even more with cute styling/colors.

Idad, if she normally wears sneakers for her commute, those would be fine. If she likes something dressiershe might appreciate some Blondo or La Canadienne waterproof short boots (or Aquatalia, a more expensive brand). Those are the three brands that I personally tested in the rain/slush on my city streets. :)

<a href=“Women's Blondo Boots | Shoes | 6pm”>http://www.6pm.com/blondo-women-boots~1</a></p>

Those are cute hiking shoes, IDad. I think they’d be great for your D–especially if she’s going to be walking in wet and slush in DC. I have some Ahnu shoes and like them very much.
