Good job, abasket! It was 37 degrees here this morning! Mother Nature decided to remind us what November in PNW should feel like. :frowning:

Hill climbs for me from now on! I decided that the city bus was not worth the aggravation.

36 mile bike ride in Vegas. Summerlin NV to the Red Rock loop and back. First half uphill and against the wind. 2nd half downhill but cold! Feet were freezing.

How’s the hand, Ohio?

A slow and easy 2.5 mile run last night. I am avoiding reading the link MOWC posted until after my marathon. I don’t need any new things to worry about!

abasket-the weather has been glorious here in Indianapolis also. I wish it would last!

Beautiful morning for a run - mid fifties, light breeze, clear - couldn’t beat it. 5.1 relaxed miles. Got home in time to join Mr. Sabaray for a pup walk. Wasn’t too good on the eating front yesterday - had a working lunch and then H and I went out for dinner. Cider martini and wood fired pizza. Delicious, but not on the eating plan.

Sabaray, you must get up so early!!! I bow to you early risers.

Cider martini - I’m not much for alcohol but have to say that sounds pretty tempting!

I am fortunate to have some great running routes right from my house, abasket - when I run from home I can wake up at 5:30 and be running by 6, done before 7. The “martini” was local cider (non-alcoholic) with bourbon and spices. Didn’t have a strong alcohol taste, which is why it was a good idea to only have one!

That martini sounds great! It was 64 degrees this morning- VERY unusual for November. I try to get back home from my runs by 7am, too.

Too much candy around the office- everyone brought in their leftover Halloween candy. Those small pieces just don’t seem that bad…but they are. It all adds up.

C3Baker- You could read that link. It won’t scare you for the marathon- unless you plan to jump over trashcans!

Hot yoga yesterday and did a short 2 mile walk this morning. Trying to get more yoga into my exercise routine and signed up for another class this week.

I ended up not ordering the vest I liked. I ordered the pullover instead! I rationalized I didn’t really need another vest but didn’t have a warmer pullover, so could “justify” the purchase. Ha! Why not? You’ve got to have some enjoyment in life, am I right?

Of course you are right, Sabaray!

Sabaray - I just adopted the phrase “Anything worth doing is worth overdoing”. I’m using that to justify all the races I’m signing up (& paying) for.

Yay, Sabaray! We can all wear our pullovers some time and have a group picture!

Can I borrow one of your old ones and be in the photo?! I’m fine with year old specimens.

Another amazing November day. More cloudy but low 70’s. Wow. H is out of town with pup so to make up for my usual pup walks I walked 1.5 miles at lunch at work, came home and did an hour-ish of yard work (the leaves are truly never ending till December…) and then snuck in a couple mile run before it got too dark. Hard to get that all in before 6pm!

Now I’m going to fully enjoy spoiling myself with dinner right in front of the tv since H is gone! Just me and Project Runway.

I’m still here! Enjoying the great weather we are having. I was having some shin pain so I’ve been walking everyday. I’m leaving for my long anticipated trip to Rome this weekend. I didn’t want to be injured before I left so I shut the running down until we get back. We aren’t bringing our running clothes, I have enough to bring without worrying about running clothes.

I’ll be back in a couple of weeks. H and I might run a turkey trot if we feel up to it when we get back.

P.S. I love the teal pullover and vest from lulu. Didn’t buy because it wouldn’t come before the trip and didn’t want any deliveries while we are gone. But boy is it a pretty color.

Have a great trip, Deb. My teal pullover came today and I really like it. I have a 10 mile race Saturday morning. My daughter is running it, too.

3 miles this morning and 1.2 this evening on the dreadmill while I watched some of the news. Took the old doggie for a short walk after dinner.

Deb, have a fabulous trip! Walk, see, eat, drink!!! Have a safe trip - can’t wait to hear about it!!!

deb, the all-day walking on cobblestones will keep you in shape for running! Have a fun trip!
Must. Stay. Off. Lulu.

Deb, have a wonderful trip! We can’t wait to hear all about it! Rest day for me today, but thinking of @C3Baker!

I just did a quick cruise through all the posts for the past 2+ weeks. Congratulations, condolences, healing vibes, and encouragement to all, as appropriate!

We got back Wednesday evening from a fabulous trip to Spain. For the first time H and I traveled with another couple – and it was great! We did, we saw, we ate, we drank … I could easily be converted to the whole Tapas Bar way of eating, drinking and socializing! I averaged close to 20,000 steps on my Fitbit almost every day and came home to find I hadn’t gained any weight at all. (OK, I didn’t lose any weight either, but I consider it all a win!)

My gym membership here in Cambridge kicks back in starting Monday, so I’ll be back at it then. Today’s exercise will be walking through a giant holiday craft festival in Boston. I’m not really in a holiday frame of mind, especially considering how warm it is here, but it’s a fun event. I have to go today since tomorrow H and I are back on a plane – but only for a short hop to Baltimore for a “reunion” dinner of the management team and investors from one of H’s companies.
