Difference between physics and physics H

What type of math is used I’m both physics classes? Is it true that physics honors requires algebra 2?

It’s based on your school requirements, not ours. My school only offers honors physics and no regular physics. The requirement for honors physics, at my school, is Math II/Geometry honors. I don’t know how…

Thank you!

I’d say that they may both be algebra I, maybe algebra II, but I don’t know what your school requires.

Thank you all! I already sent her a message. Hopefully she will reply Tuesday.

Physics Honors requires more math than Physics. Physics is better for students who are better at memorizing and understanding concepts. Physics Honors does require some Algebra 2 (ie. quadratic formula, understanding curve of a parabola, etc.) I took Physics Honors and AP Calculus AB this year and there were times where I had to take what I previously learned in Calc and apply it to Physics.

Did you not learn Quadratic Formula in Algebra I?
