Difficulty?

Sorted by periods (P.S. my school does block schedule)

  1. AP Calculus AB
  2. ERWC 3-4. AP Chemistry
  3. AP Government/Macroeconomics
  4. guitar

Excluding guitar, how hard are each of these classes? Essentially, the only class I would have everyday (excluding the finals for 2nd and 5th periods) is AP Chem (how peachy). Also, what are some key differences between ERWC and AP Lit?

Am I correct ERWC is a college prep English class? As for the difficulties of most of them, I’m can’t say for certain because I myself haven’t taken any of these classes. However, I have a friend in AP Chem (she’s set to be salutatorian unless something changes before graduation) who says that AP Chem is a difficult class and you will DEFINITELY have to study. If you did well in chemistry/honors chemistry, you should be prepared for it, though.

If she is setting the goal of advancing to a valedictorian, then I wish her the best of luck. Otherwise, she’s absolutely right: AP Chem (as well as APUSH, Calc BC, etc.) has been quite a challenge (even though I did relatively well in regular Chem) and I feel like understanding its concept and materials is tougher than any other classes I have, being arguably one of the hardest AP classes out there. Thanks for the heads up.

To answer your question: yes, you’re correct.
