<p>I’m apply to UVA as a transfer student this year. Will I be at a disadvantage if I applied as an out of state applicant last year and was rejected?</p>
<p>Because it’s a state school, I think that you’re automatically at a disadvantage. In addition, I would think that there needs to be something special that wasn’t there before for them to admit you as a transfer if they didn’t as a freshman.</p>
