Disciplinary action

Can someone please share,
a) are more stricter disciplinary actions applied to International studente viz-a-viz a local student in US
b) how positively an appeal for a Disciplinary notice is treated for an International freshman student by the Universities

So, what did you do?!

Within the college, no: student rules apply equally to all students. However, if it is considered criminal the penalties can be much more severe: depending on the offense, an international student can be deported.

The response to an appeal isn’t related to international so much as the nature of the offense, the rules of the university, and the values of the university. Unless, I suppose there is some element that is particular to your status as an international student, though I can’t think what that would be.

No, internationals are not treated more severely, and in some instances are even given a little leeway if it’s considered a cultural misunderstanding. However, consequences are more severe since committing something worthy of disciplinary action can lead to expulsion and loss of visa.
Appeals are rarely succsseful, either for international or domestic students - unless a new element came to light.
