<p>I think all finalist notifications are sent via e-mail and snail mail, and rejections are just sent via snail mail. At least that’s what it seems like based on last year’s thread.</p>
<p>it appears that since last year the yhad the 0-5 message and it was only for the finalist unless they made any changes this year than only finalist receive that message. =[</p>

<p>@dangosan: This is the exact same email I received within minutes after contacting them by email and GMS representative earlier today. But my case seems far worse than anyone here; the GMS hotline can’t even pull my records - I’ve been dialing my registration ID and social security number correctly without success.</p>

<p>Submit ANY acceptance letter you have. its is not binding for Gates.Tootiired to go through the thread, when is the due date for submission of finalist materials? Make sure you start these ASAP, time is essential. Follow up with your GC, or even better, get confirmation (either through fax or mail) that they have got to Gates. Get a confirmation page if by fax, or a return receipt (about 75 cents) by mail. This is your full ride to school, don’t leave anything to chance. </p>

<p>I faxed the transcript, school profile, and college acceptance letter in the night of getting finalist status, and it was received early today.</p>
<p>Everything is due April 9. We have to wait for our packets for that unweighted cumulative GPA form though.</p>

<p>Does your e-mail say specifically that you need to submit everythin at once? I don’t remember, and if not, I would start sending in things ASAP. Look at it as a college app file, they receive something, and note it in your file. No need to piece mail it. I can tell you the quicker that the finalist materials were sent in, the quicker the notifications. It is on a “rolling” basis, so to speak. We didn’t know this, and in reading the CC thread for my daughters year, it seems that acceptances were quicker for those who sent in ALL their materials quickly. As I said, send in ANY acceptance, and note that this may or may not be your school that you matriculate to.</p>

At my high school we hv a College Councelor and very often she lets us know keys to acceptances and rejections. today we asked her adn a list of the finalist have been sent to them the people at my hihg school who got the 0-5 are finalist according to the call adn the e-mail my college councelor received from gmsp.</p>
<p>So I asked my teacher who writes recommendations every year and he says that for the 2nd phase of the scholarship, if everything follows through with our income and such that they will most likely award the scholarship. Does anyone know if that’s true?</p>
<p>The facebook page for GMS said that all finalists will be notified BY THE END OF MARCH. So, maybe there’s still a chance for some of you.</p>

Did yah guys do everything together? i’m worried because I want to have everything sent in at once, including that stupid gpa form that we have to wait for</p>
