<p>Umm, no, that isn’t cool. =P I think that it is uncool that other people find out before us, the people in Texas(South?) Haha I am just SOOOOOOO ANXIOUS AND NERVOUS! I want to be the first gay guy to get Gates at my school like ever. It has been nothing but girls and no guys have ever became finalist, and I am gay, so that would be awesome. My efc is 0 and I have a 3.51 gpa. Ehh, it could be better but oh well. I became a CNA my Senior year of high school and I have done so much in the medical field. I will be awesome in life, but this scholarhsip will make it even better, you know?</p>

<p>i wouldnt get your hopes up for monday. i live in ohio and last time i got something from that area (it wasnt anything gates related, just mail in general) it got mailed on march 31st. i didnt get it til april 3rd. that means people within 900 miles of where their letter was sent from will most likely hear by tuesday. anyone outside of that 900 mile radius may very well not hear until later on in the week (or even the next week if you live on the opposite coast)</p>
<p>I hope they send out emails as well. I never received the packet telling me I was a finalist and had to get it faxed to me instead. Although If I remember correctly, they emailed me about being a finalist a couple of days after they had already mailed the packets expecting that we would either just be receiving the packets or very soon after. Don’t know if they are going to send out emails but I hope they do. Never received my acceptance letters from Yale and Princeton in the mail either. </p>
<p>Hope we get them tomorrow or Tuesday! My brother got it and I am sure that I deserve it more than he does :)</p>
