Disney college program & staying on track

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone from ASU has done the disney college program and if you could tell me if it puts you behind a semester or not. I am getting my degree in Business Entrepreneurship (wpc) and want to know how the disney college program would effect my 4 year track.

I just changed my major at the end of my freshman year, but luckily am still on track to graduate in 4 years. I also have a way that I could graduate in 3&1/2 Asu semesters with some community college summer courses. I know you can apply for the dcp after your last semester of college, but am worried if I don’t get in the first time I could not try again to get in. I was thinking of applying for my last semester so I could apply again if I didn’t get in or wanted to do it again. Please give me any advice you can on how transfer credits and staying on track works with the disney college program! Thanks!

I did the Disney college program while I was in community college, (I later went to ASU). Yes, it will set you back a semester. I’m afraid that’s unavoidable, as it’s really more of a job than an internship. Sure, they offer classes, but basically nobody signs up for those.

My advice is to do it: it’s a great time, and it looks great on resumes. But you gotta do that summer school in order to make up for it. That’s what I did!
