I have probably what is a naive question about college applications. I can’t seem to find the search button anymore, so sorry if this is a redundant question.

If you send in supplemental information or extra forms, do you think colleges will simply disregard those extra forms, reflect badly on my application, or even outright disregard my application itself?

I don’t think any college will disregard your application, but colleges vary on their policies as to supplemental material. Some colleges say that they welcome such material - but others don’t want it. My guess is that if they say they don’t want to see it, they will in fact disregard whatever you send.

If you have any doubts, you generally can email the admissions department and ask.
