As the title says…do any of you keep a notebook to jot down your brilliant ideas or anything that pops into your head? Da Vinci’s notebook is just an amazing artifact that inspires me to think of inventions and just analyze mundane objects. So, do any of you relate?

A notebook of math ideas, raps, robot designs, book ideas, and future plans.
Yes, it’s a big notebook.

Is there anyway you could scan some of the more intricate and well designed pages to me? I’d like to see what similar-minded people think of when it comes to creativity.

I did that back in the mental hospital, but that’s because they didn’t have computers. Ever since I regained Internet access I post stuff on Twitter instead.

No, I don’t really have any ideas worth writing down. I doodle a lot, but most of it is meaningless.

lol if I suddenly think of the answer to some deep philosophical question I’ve been pondering for a few months, I’ll start jumping up and down and go write it down somewhere, but not in a notebook…it’s just, too organized, I guess?

my math notebook filled with algebra and analysis problems and doodles of course

“A notebook of math ideas, raps, robot designs, book ideas, and future plans.
Yes, it’s a big notebook.”

Lol @ raps

I’ve got an iPhone with a notes application on it…but nope I guess I just don’t have any brilliant ideas that I couldn’t just make a mental note of.

yes, but in microsoft word

Art notebook. Well, 2, really, both a notebook (for notes and to tape random saved doodles) and a sketchpad for creating said doodles (and actual works of art).

Quotes, ‘brilliant’ ideas, and random strings of poetry go into wordpad document though.

It depends. I have an iPod Touch where I put everything in the notepad app. If there is sudden inspiration I’ll write it anywhere and save it somewhere in my room. For poems and stuff I do have a notebook that I usually write things, but, like I said, it depends.
