Do AP Exams show up on your college transcript?

Hi

I just took an AP Exam a couple of days ago and it did not go well at all… If I get a bad score, will it be on my record forever? In other words, will all the colleges I apply to be able to see that I failed my Calc AB exam?

Thanks! =)

Colleges will only see it if you choose to send your score to them or self-report it on your app, so no, they don’t have to see it if you don’t want them to. Also, if you’re positive that you did poorly, you could always cancel your score.

Thanks for such a quick reply! And also, how do you cancel your score? Can I cancel my test after I see what I got?

Check the CollegeBoard AP website for step-by-step directions on how to cancel an AP score:

Thank you guys so much! This is very helpful! One more thing… Does anyone happen to know how long it will take to get AP scores back?
