I’m just wondering, because I won a city-wide beauty pageant in the Philippines when I was eleven years old that gave money to the community to use for improvements, and I’ve never thought about using it to my advantage haha.

Well… You can count it if you continue with modeling/fashion pageanting throughout high school.

it doesn’t count if you were 11. only high school achievements can be ECs

It will probably be good experience as far as giving you interviewing confidence, but the whole Toddlers and Tiaras thing where pageants are considered child abuse with spray tanned two year olds and crazy moms dancing behind the judges, I would bet that would put pageants in the same category as cheerleading–not something the prep schools would view as necessarily a positive EC. It may be big in the South but not so much in the NE.
Also, what you do as an 11 year old, unless up have been consistently participating in the same activity, maybe is too far back to include.

Only if you’re in HS at the time.

You may want to mention it just to set yourself apart. I modeled in new York sophomore junior and senior year and the schools I applied to found it impressive that I kept up my grades while being in New York and it also set me apart
