Do colleges look into senior year?

I received an F for AP Computer Science in the first semester of sophomore year, and dropped it in the second. I’m trying to make up the class and I might be able to take it in senior year, but would the colleges even see that I made up the class?
I’m wondering if colleges at least look into your first semester senior grades and if it even counts for your overall GPA. If I did make up the class in senior year, would I be able to apply for universities or is all hope lost?

Yes. Colleges consider your senior year.
