Do Colleges Want to See Physics?

I am a rising senior and am currently enrolled in AP Physics 1 for next year. However, I don’t know if I want to take AP Physics 1 as I struggled with chemistry my sophomore and junior years and I heard that Physics is just as if not more math heavy. I already have 4 years of science under my belt (2 years of life science-honors and AP Bio and 2 years of physical science-honors and AP Chemistry). Do highly selective colleges (Ivy level) want to see physics or is it ok if I don’t take it and switch the class out for a different one? I am planning on majoring in Finance-not looking to go anywhere near science.
Thanks

Yes, highly selective colleges want to see Physics, even if at regular level.
If you’re not confident you can get a B or higher in AP Physics 1 look into the process of ‘dropping down’ one level at your school, especially deadlines

@MYOS1634 Thanks! I’m probably just going to grind through physics. For those of you who have taken AP Physics 1, are there any good textbooks, websites, videos, etc. that really helped? I heard that Dan Fullerton is a really good resource.

Openstax College has an online textbook specifically for AP Physics 1, if you ever need another resource or you feel like studying ahead.
