Do cross country, outdoor track, and indoor track fall under the same "type" of EC?

55 second 400 meter dash or 400m hurdles? Hopefully the latter.

55M… 6.7 or 6.67 FAT.

^^^^^ Guess who choked on the 400 and let his whole team down?

<< This guyyy. Yeahh.

Pfft. Not like we expected to win this year, but still. Last of 12 full seasons of running; I wanted to make something of it.

And btw, are you actually a competitive runner at all? The caliber of NJ track runners isn’t comparable to that of IL track runners? The top mark for NJ athletes is better than the top mark for IL athletes in every single individual event besides pole vault, high jump and discuss. Yes the caliber of athletes in the two states isn’t even comparable, Illinois is a joke compared to New Jersey.

@jersey13
we don’t have a MOC, only senior spotlight which is only for seniors. but, I have been all state in both xc and track all 3 years now, 5th 9th and 2nd at xc nationals (all-american). so yeah, I’d say I know a bit about running too

I’m also a swimmer with AAAA cuts and multiple times placing at nationals, which is why I do think xc and track should count as seperate sports since I’m considered a 3-sport athlete

That’s fair to say about California (and I’ll go ahead and say Texas and Florida just based on population & warm weather most of the time) but just from the past two years:

Sorry to get defensive, but NJ can hold its own.

^^ Right, you claim to know a bit about running yet you make the idiotic claim that IL track runners are far superior to NJ track runners. Times show otherwise.

Oh, I see. I thought you said “and” in between them and that confused me. That’s pretty impressive.

Well, don’t forget Verzbicas. He’s just a freak.

Illinois has freakshow relays though, especially in distance races.

Nike or Foot Locker XC Nationals?

Yes you technically are a 3 sport athlete. In my opinion, you aren’t.

gotta love Lukas (I can’t believe he doesn’t do track, stupid triathalons!)

^ I repeat my question, Nike or Foot Locker XC Nationals?

Isn’t he doing New Balance Nationals? I want to see him run the mile against Kaddurah. Kaddurah better represent.

Jersey13, I looked this year for 2nd place and couldn’t find an Alex A from Illinois and an Alexa from Illinois in either so I’m waiting for that answer too. And Lukas just ran a 4:04 full mile at the Jim Ryun meet so I think he does do track…

He probably does Nike XC nationals. Foot Locker is a lot tougher from what I’ve seen. That might be team place too.

@Jersey13 I have run at footlocker, AAU, and USATF nationals, and at indoor Nike nationals. I’d prefer to retain a tiny bit of anonymity though since this is the internet so sorry I’m not going to go into more detail than that.

@hahalolk team Verb all the way!

^ No IL T10 placers at Footlocker besides Verzbicas, and that’s not you.

ok well then tell me your first and last name. telling you exactly which meets I’ve run and my places would give away my name, which I don’t feel very safe doing. sorry. believe what you wish :)

So to summarize, you didn’t place 2nd, 5th and 9th at XC Nationals.

That’s okay, but it’s just (at least in my opinion) that All-American from FL/NXN is a lot harder to achieve than at AAU/USATF. Still though, All-American is All-American so hats off to you.
