<p>With those statistics, If you really want to go to UVA, go online, fill out the application by November 1st for Early Decision (It is binding and while the party line is there is “no advantage” to ED over regular decision, this is the very last year for ED for UVA (Harvard and Princeton are dropping it and UVA is one of the “new ivies” ) You get a decision in 30 days (Dec 1) and you can enjoy Christmas, New Years, Spring semester in High school etc instead of worrying. As a parent, I found ED quite advantageous and yours might also. Plus every ED student admitted to UVA is one less Regular decision with the exact same qualifications (oops, there I go sounding like there is an advantage)</p>
