<p>Depends on how badly you “screw up”. Are we talking about completely failing and then struggling to get, say, a B or C average, or getting a few Bs and quickly improving to straight As?</p>
<p>It also depends on the university. UF and FSU will be harder on mistakes than USF and UCF. If you can get your GPA and SAT to the point that UF is even in the realm of possibility, FAU would be a safety, but you can’t just write it off–it’s getting much more selective.</p>
<p>Most universities look favorably on upward trends.</p>

<p>Your GPA would probably still be too low for UF and FSU, but it would depend on your SATs.</p>
