In the last couple of days I have been getting logged out for no apparent reason, multiple times a day. Any others having this problem?
Happens all the time for me. Not everyday but several times a week. Sometimes all that’s needed is to refresh page or hit the back button, but sometimes I have to log in again. No rhyme or reason for it that I can tell.
I am automatically logged out after every visit to CC. The “remember me” box does nothing. (I use an ipad mini – maybe the device makes a difference?)
This happens to me every two weeks. I need to log in using my user name and password…every two weeks. Then I’m good to go for two more weeks.
It’s beyond annoying.
Emilybee, I’m like you. Sometimes I stay logged in for many days, and sometimes I have to log in several times in a day.
There was a response to this issue in the Community Forums and Issues section of this site. Apparently every two weeks, you need to totally log back in using user name and password. A few of us suggested this was too short a time period…and especially if users were active ones (I can understand why those not active might need to log back in…but those who use the site a lot? Why?).
I have found this to be true. Every couple of weeks, it seems I get “logged out”. I’m not really logged out because if I hit the back arrow or enter a forum…poof, I’m logged in.
But if I just log in using username and password, these logouts stop…well…for two more weeks.
I’m logged out frequently. I could select a different forum and I’m logged out. Refresh the page and I’m logged back in. Remember me function does not work on devices other than a computer for me.
Yea, I am randomly logged out, sometimes multiple times in a day and then sometimes I remain logged in for several days in a row, across various electronic devices–phones (iPhone, windows and android), iPad mini, Microsoft surface and desktop PC. I don’t notice any particular pattern myself.
Any chance you could respond to this thread? Many people do not venture to the community issues section of this site. This is a good place to reach out to many.
