Do we file an application when not asking for aid?

Hi!

I did not apply for financial aid in Stanford, Brown and UPenn. My counselor told me that the admission chances tend to “ease out a bit” in such a scenario. Now, do I have to complete the CSS Profile for these universities? Do I complete the other financial documents as well? Do I send my parent’s tax returns to these places?

Thanks for lending a helping hand!

At Brown, if you don’t apply for aid, you only begin your financially related work in April once you’re admitted and have to get your I-20 and stuff.

Thanks ‘tetrisfan’!

Anything regarding Stanford and Penn?

No idea, sorry.
