I do try to look relatively nice, and I usually dress pretty well. I like to wear dresses, skirts, or jeans with a nice shirt. I rarely wear T-shirts, and never sweatpants. I don’t wear much makeup, but I usually put on a touch of eyeliner. I don’t do much to my hair either…just comb it out. I shower the night before, so I get ready within like 20 minutes in the morning. I’d never be someone who puts hours into my appearance, but I do feel better when I look better, so why not put in the minimal effort?

I look my best sometimes. And when I do I wear boots/ flats, nice jeans, a cute top and I’ll do my makeup and hair. But a lot of the time I just wear jeans and tshirts and usually flip flops or moccasins and my hair in a messy bun.

The biggest difference between when I try and when I don’t is my hair- I also use my glasses when I feel crappy.

And on half days, or days before breaks/ early dismissal I’ll wear really baggy sweats, a hoodie & my addidas sandals
This is pretty much how my school is. During a half day the WHOLE school minus like 100 people (my school has 4000) go looking like bums in sweats- to me, it’s already enough that I showed up to school on a half day.

I go to private school now, so I wear a uniform all the time. Whenever we have dress-down days, I always just wear baggy sweatpants and a T-shirt, which I think is what most people do.
When I was in public school freshman year (a school I’d consider huge, since the freshman class was around 485, although that lowers dramatically as the years go on), I was generally pretty lazy in terms of what I wore. At that time, for every 14 days, 9 days would be spent at my mother’s and 5 days spent at my dad’s house (divorced parents). At my mom’s, I’d /always/ wear really baggy sweatpants, a T-shirt, and a sweatshirt. At my dad’s, I had better clothes, although I’d still be lazy sometimes.
I have straight hair, so I’ve never even touched a hair straightener. It’s long and I make sure I brush it thoroughly. I don’t do anything with it generally. I don’t wear makeup, the only kind of makeup I’ve worn is a little foundation when my skin is bad.

We have dress code but I try to look somewhat decent otherwise I’m never going to get a girlfriend. ._.
