Do you have a "uniform"?

I’m into comfy.

So for summer…shorts or crop pants with a t shirt type top. And sandals.

For winter…jeans, some kind of warm top, and boots. Jeans either blue or black.

Someone mentioned above that they pretty much only wear solids. I would have to say, I hardly EVER wear solids! Almost always a print except for a few solid winter dresses. And color - I will do black but WITH color. And rarely, pants.

PG, muscular calves - you worked hard to get that muscle - ok to show them if you’d like to!!!

I don’t wear much black. I have black pants and a blazer, but I have too many animals and I really don’t like black. Love bright colors and prints.

In the winter: Jeans, and a long sleeve T-shirt from Lands’ End (this one: http://www.landsend.com/products/womens-shaped-cotton-crewneck-t-shirt/id_182280_48?sku_0=::MQE) and a sweater. Short boots and black socks.

In the summer: Shorts, and a short-sleeve T-shirt from Lands’ End (this one: http://www.landsend.com/products/womens-shaped-cotton-crewneck-t-shirt/id_182283_48?sku_0=::DAZ) and, occasionally, a sweater, if I’m indoors and it’s cool. Flats or, if I’m walking the dogs, sneakers.

We’re going to a wedding this Saturday and I’m looking forward to getting dressed up!

I have black tights and leggings and a few black pieces here and there, but my outfits usually have color. On those rare occasions I have to wear a suit, it is either dark blue, sand, or chocolate. Like MOfWC, I have furry kids. Animals prints are great at masking animal hair!!

My “black” is black cardigans or a few black tops - I think I"m the only woman on earth who owns one pair of dress black pants - I do have a pair of black skinny jeans - I might wear them once a year. So, not part of my uniform!

@VeryHappy I’ve become a big fan of Land’s End t-shirts as well. I used to wear different brands but found they were getting thinner and less durable. I’ve been very happy with the quality of the Land’s End tees and they are very reasonably priced, especially in conjunction with the discounts they constantly offer.

I’m embarrassed to say that I own two of the long-sleeve ones in white and five of the short-sleeved ones in white. And many in other colors as well. So it’s really a uniform!

T-shirts for me MUST be thinner - can’t stand a thick tshirt! And, can’t stand the neck of a standard unisex tshirt!

abasket- Check out FellowFlowers t-shirts if you want casual/athletic. Thin and comfortable.

@abasket I don’t like thick t-shirts either but I dislike those tissue t-shirts that are basically see thru and easily develop small holes with minimal wears and washings. Those are the kind I avoid.

I was starting to wear my summer uniform too much (black capris/print top) so decided to make an effort to give everything in my closet a whirl. This week has been ankle skirts, cotton dresses, tan capris, and solid tops. Winter was black short sleeved t-shirts, black pants and a colorful solid cardigan.

Winter: nice jeans or comfortable pants with a bit of stretch, plain color cotton knit tops, a variety of sweaters and cardigans. Most are a single color, fairly long with interesting texture. I used to wear blazers and jackets a lot but I rarely do now. Merrel shoes. Black flats if I’m going for dressy.

Summer: capris, short sleeve cotton knit tops or plain colored blouse. Close toe sandals that I can climb ladders wearing. I did today!

Zoning board meetings: Grey knit skirt or black pants. Grey or black twin set top. Black flats.

Home is pretty much the same except I’ll wear fun t-shirts if I am sure I’m not going to see anyone. And shorts if it is hot.

I used to love showing off my legs. I am 6’0" and it’s all leg. Until recently, they were darned toned legs too!

Stupid illness and medicine to treat it makes me allergic to the sun. Boo :frowning: lol

I just started following FellowFlowers on FB recently!!!

When the weather is warm, I am in a dress all the time. It is usually free flowing cotton/linen, with a pair of flats. In the winter, it’s a pair of dark pants with a sweater, and boots or loafers.

My “uniform” is that I never wear jeans. I own a pair, but it would be rare indeed for me to wear them… Around the house in the winter I wear fleece pants and in the summer J Jill linen crops or bermuda shorts. I own them in every color. On top I wear colors…lots of colors. Sweaters in Winter and sleeveless or cap sleeve shirts in the summer. On the most very hot of days I wear an athletic dress - from Praana or Athleta usually. For work I’m partial to dresses…so have lots of dresses. I pick out 5 and hang them outside my closet on Sunday, grab and go in the morning.

I have the sense from other threads that part of oldfort’s uniform is her handbags?

If you had her handbags, you’d wear them even just to walk to the mailbox

All year: J.Jill linen pants, mostly in suburban mom beige/oatmeal (branched out this year and bought lots of other colors, though), with something loose up top, sometimes that will be a wrap around. Always have a cami on, and a pair of earrings. Must have my earrings.
