I must have a flat/top sheet as that’s all I sleep with no matter the season. Thus, the duvet envelope is only washed once a year. As I posted on the New Bedding thread, duvet covers are a must for me (part of the decor), but they must fit perfectly (so I make most of them), and I don’t wrestle. I simply pin (or loop) the top two corners of the comforter to the inside top two corners of the duvet cover and shake until the cover is in place, then zip, tie, or button the bottom. I doubt it takes me two minutes but, even if it took half an hour, I’d do it.
