It just seems like so many people regret not doing better in high school. I don’t understand being bitter about it though. I graduated as a C+ student in high school. I could have done a lot better but do I care that I didn’t do better? Not at all because I still got the same diploma as the girl who graduated first in my class and I overall was a ok student. I’m only 6 months away from my AA degree now which I’m very happy about. Getting the diploma/degree is the bottom line.
I’m actually the opposite. I’m a hs senior and I obsess about grades. I think it depends on what your goals are. Personally, I fell in love with the idea of going to a highly selective college. In retrospect, though, I wish I could’ve been easier on myself.
