I have completed the IGETC-T-AA and received the degree from a California Community College while meeting Berkeley’s requires for my respected major with a 3.85 unweighted gpa (3 B’s, rest A’s) in 1.5 years. I am currently applying to UC Berkeley, and 7 other schools. My question, does the IGETC General Breadth work for all UC’s, (specifically Berkeley) CSU’s, and privates?
No.
IGETC (intersegmental general education transfer curriculum) is the result of an articulation agreement between the California Community Colleges and The University of California. Period. It satisfies breadth work for al UC’s including Berkeley for most majors.
The Transfer AA degree is a degree conferred by the community college that meets certain standards.
CSU has a very similar articulation agreement that is sometimes referred to as IGETC. There are one or two additional classes (I recall Speech being one of them).
There is no articulation agreement with private universities. Courses will be evaluated course-by-course based on an analysis of the syllabus/course content.
^ Correct.

If you mean you achieved an AA-T or “AA for Transfer”, that’s a program to a CSU that offers the same major, to guarantee a bachelor’s after 60 more semester units. http://adegreewithaguarantee.com/
What was your major?
