how long exactly is the waitlist, is there hope?

princeton has said that they expect to take many people off the waitlist this year due to elimination of ED. if you’ve already decided you’re gonna try and get in, knowing the numbers will not help your chances. you just do your best, trust me.

I have no idea what the numbers are. The fact that the university will rely more heavily on the waitlist this year makes me hopeful. I know I should try to fall in love with UPenn, my second choice, but I am completely in love with Princeton and I want to do everything I possibly can to be accepted. Anybody have any thoughts or opinions on what would be a good plan of action to take?

In addition to the 1,976 offered admission, 1,526 students were offered positions on the wait list, though only half of those students are expected to choose to stay on the wait list, as in past years.

–This was taken off the Princeton Website. Good Luck.
