Does anyone know what this means (APC999TR)?

Hello all,
I was reading up on UB’s AP Credit Policy (as I will most likely be an incoming UB Bull this fall) and there is a weird alphanumerical string next to the policy for the AP course I took and what it would cover.

Is APC999TR an elective? That’s what I take it as, but I’m not 100% sure.

For reference: I took AP CSP last year, and scored a 3. It seems like UB will take it but I cannot decipher what that string means. Can anyone help?
This might be easier (as it’s highlighted in blue) rather than scrolling down the list that I provided earlier.
See attached:

Thanks!!

It means that it’s not equivalent to a specific course, so you get general credit

The College Board AP credit listings for colleges have had errors. Use the listing at the college’s own web site for a primary source. For Buffalo, see Alternative / Exam Credit - Office of the Registrar - University at Buffalo

APC999TR probably means generic transfer credit that does not count for any specific course or subject credit.

This link was incredibly helpful, and I found out what it means – it serves as a general exam credit. Because I got a score of 3, it could be used for 4 elective credits. I appreciate it!

Thank you!

It’s best not to take general elective credits since they don’t help you with your major or gen eds, but reduce the number of elective or upper-level major classes you’re allowed to take.

From my experience with AP credit policies, it’s likely that the “APC999TR” refers to a placeholder for a transfer credit or something that doesn’t map directly to a specific course. So yeah, it could be an elective or just a generic credit they assign for transfer courses.
