Thank you for your help!

Yes, it does.

It requires an application, a supplemental application, and an audition.

Thank you! Is the supplement included in the regular UC application, or does one get it somewhere else? Also, do you know when the auditions are held and what are the requirements?

Here is a link to the UCLA BA Theatre admissions page… [Admissions | Undergraduate Theater | UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television](http://www.tft.ucla.edu/programs/undergraduate-theater/admissions/)

Most of your questions are answered there.

If I recall correctly, the supplemental is done after the main UC application. The auditions are in February. You can’t sign up until January. Its run like a machine. There will be 60 plus kids auditioning in the a.m. and another 60 plus p.m., so over 120 each day. You are given a number when you arrive, and that is the order that you audition, so if you don’t like to audition first, don’t get in line first. If you audition in LA, its free. Otherwise, it costs money. The audition is two parts. First is the adjudication of your monologues. We have known kids who didn’t make it through a single monologue and were rudely cut off. Others have done both their monologues and then one of them again with adjustments. Second is an interview with an entirely different faculty member. Before the audition is the “scare tactics” where they tell you all the reasons you should NOT go to UCLA. So many apply that I think they do this to get rid of those that aren’t serious. People do leave. They are like USC… not super friendly. Very realistic if you are looking for a realistic, what its going to be like in the real world type audition.

After the auditions, if you get in, then they spend a lot of time at the new student orientation in April telling you why you SHOULD go to UCLA. They do a good job. It worked for my D and she is going there. :)
