<p>I was a CIT last summer at a sleep away camp for a month, and it was an unpaid position in which I was basically a counsellor with all the responsibilities but no pay. Can I put this under volunteering in my college apps?</p>

<p>I think it could count as volunteering, since you didn’t get paid. If you wanted to count that as work experience, I’m sure that’d be fine as well.</p>
