Does being an international student lower my chances of being accepted?

Sorry of this is a dumb question but, I am applying to the following universities as in international transfer student (spent 4 semesters in college doing the computer science program)

university of massachusetts amherst
university of massachusetts lowell
University of South Florida
Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago

With these stats for a college:
Overall GPA: 3.58
Concentrated GPA: 3.4

and these activities:
-Done martial arts for 8 years (won national competitions and have been on the national team. I have also won in a world cup in 2010) I stopped at 2012
-Part of the CIMUN club in college (IT committe)

 • Part of the computer science and engineering association (magazine editor)

And a TOEFL score of 106, and an SAT of 1880 (which they usually don’t ask transfer students for)

I am really worried that I won’t get accepted into any of them. My stats are not the best, and the fact that I am an international student worries me because I have seen the small percentages of international students in US colleges. They say they evaluate all transfer applications together, but I am quite concerned. Do you think I have a chance? Or should I find a ‘safety’ university with much lower standard?

Hey, I don’t really know much of Transfer admissions but i think schools in which you are applying are not that competitive than most of top LACs and Ivy leagues. I guess you ll be fine in all of them. Good luck and yes you are competing with other International applicants with much higher stats so it is difficult for most of International students (including me of course) hope this help

I don’t know about those schools, but I hope you are aware of that it is difficult to get fin aid when you are transferring as an international.

ahtesham - thank you so much. I’ll do my best and hope for the best.
SwedishChris - I’m aware. Thank you ^^
Any other opinions on this?
