Loved SUNY Buffalo! Applying ED for Computer Science. My SAT meets their criteria (640 M, 580 W). My GPA is below the average though. If they say no to Computer Science, do they generally accept to the College and you can re-apply for a program later?
What do you think my changes are. I have great leadership activities and EC’s…

Typically, if UB accepts you for admissions, then you will be placed in your program and assigned an advisor from that department…many freshman change majors and you won’t formally apply to most departments until sophomore year anyway. At that point, they will want to see that you have completed the required pre-requisites for that major and have earned whatever minimum GPA the department/major requires. You can find all that information on the specific program/degree pages in the Undergrad Catalog. Here’s a link to the Comp Sci requirements:

Afaik, UB doesn’t consider the writing portion of the SAT. Your math score seems fine though!

what’s your GPA? that’s a major piece

82… but Junior year increased it by 10 points.

bump…
