Does colleges look at TWE scores?

<p>Yes, the TWE score is sent to colleges. Some schools have minimum TOEFL and TWE scores, others don’t. I suppose 5.0 is a good TWE score…?</p>

<p>Daang…how badly would 3.5 twe hurt an application to GaTech or UIUC? They dun have a min. twe score but would it have a negative impact even though I have 667 Toefl and 700 writing score? Would they see it just as a minor slip?</p>

<p>I would think they would focus on your SAT writing score, as it is closer to native-language English than the TOEFL. </p>

<p>They might think you were havin’ a bad day while writing the TWE essay.</p>
