I am a high school senior and considering to apply for UVA. From what I understand, UVA has a very good social life and is good at sporty,… The question is, Will UVA suit a person like me who doesn’t quite like sports and party, but interested in doing meditation and religious stuff like
reincarnation …near death experience?

By the way, how much does it typically cost for room and board per year

Um…what? You like near-death experiences? Well, you can definitely get a near-death experience if you drink enough tequila in a short enough amount of time, so maybe you should reconsider your stance on partying.

UVa’s religious studies program is world-class and extremely good, but I don’t know about reincarnation and all of that. Do you want to study religion in a historical and social context? Or like, do you just like meditating? Because I don’t know of any college that has programs in reincarnation and meditation specifically as an activity. Sounds like maybe you should become a Tibetan monk or something.

“you can definitely get a near-death experience if you drink enough tequila in a short enough amount of time, so maybe you should reconsider your stance on partying.”

I don’t know what a near death experience is, but that scares the **** out of me. UVA is a big school, you’ll find your niche whatever it is. If you’re a religious guy, they have IV, FCA, Hillel, or pretty much whatever faith you’re a part of.

I’m assuming you’re an international student from Asia. (Perhaps it’s a stupid assumption.) Anyway, you can ask these “International Student Ambassadors” who can ask your questions:

Haha…my last statement made no sense. I meant these students can ANSWER your questions. Just click on the flags of the countries whose ‘student ambassadors’ you would like to email.
