Does when you apply affect merit availability and is it easy to change majors?

Does anyone know if Bentley gives more aid if you apply esrly in RD versus late? I’m assuming no because they do acceptances at once and not rolling.

If you come in as an arts and sciences major and want to change to business, what is the process? Can you just change or do you need certain classes first and permission from the department?

You might find the major change info on the website - including not having a major:

Policy: Students are encouraged to declare a major in the first semester of their sophomore year. Students may, however, change majors as often as they choose.

Procedure for changing, adding, or dropping your program of study can be found in Workday.

I just wasn’t sure if that includes changing from Arts and Sciences to Business or just a major within one of those schools. So many universities seem to make you declare the school (business or A&S in this situation) and then you don’t have to declare a major right away but you can’t always change ti a difference school.

According to them, you don’t even declare a major to second year.

Perhaps you don’t get accepted with a major.
