Doing the same program for 2 summers. HELP!

hello. im a sophmore who is doing a summer program at a local college. problem is that this would be the second year that im doing the program, and to be honest, it’s not all that prestigious. trust me, i applied to two other programs, but i got rejected by one and wait-listed by the other. is there any other opportunities in New York City that are still accepting and are free (i doubt there are though)? or anything else i can do besides a program that’s still open? im interested in health/medical professions. any help?

also, is it bad if i do this program twice event though its not very prestigious? we do college-level hands on work in anatomy, engineering, business/technology, and chemistry. it was fun, but i really wanted to do something else.

It’s the end of June, you have already been accepted by this program, you liked it last summer and it involves hands-on work where you actually learn something. I think this is a good repeat choice for this summer.

In all honesty, do what makes you happy in summer because unless it is one of the top ten most prestigious summer programs, colleges won’t care.

I don’t know about any other programs but if it won’t be fun for you, look around!

thank you all for your help! :)
