<p>I actually think Trump screwed it up somehow. Like he ran out of time before doing “something different.”</p>
<p>Yeah, I think once he announced who won, he couldn’t get control back. I assumed he was going to give each of them $250K even though Rich won the title.</p>
<p>When Trump said he was going to do “something different”, I thought it was going to be a tie. They both did an excellent job, but I was always pulling for John Rich.</p>
<p>I thought they were both terrific. I was rooting for Matlin bc her charity probably doesn’t get alot of attention like St. Jude’s does. Obviously both are worthy. How can you choose, especially when kids are involved?</p>
<p>I definitely was a bit emotional during the song that JR and Marli performed. How sweet!! It put the show into perspective for me.</p>
<p>I think the “something different” was he didn’t say “your fired” to Marlee. She reall did a fantastic job, and he probably felt she was a winner in her own way.</p>
<p>Star really showed her true colors. She really had to “go there” last night. She had to turn the moment around to focus on her. She really is a piece of work. I now really do not like her.</p>
<p>I was really happy with Trump’s final choice. I think John Rich rocked it the whole way through. That’s one smart ka’boy! ;-)</p>
<p>I was absolutely FUMING mad this morning though. I watched the show all season long but could not watch the finale in real time last night. So, I studiously avoided this internet this morning (Monday), didn’t look at the paper… I was determined to not know the end. I’m in the kitchen flipping pancakes for the kids when the radio deejay starts mentioning the Celebrity Apprentice finale. With a loud “Nooooooooooooooooooo!” I literally leapt across the kitchen and bashed the radio off so I wouldn’t hear anything. About ten minutes later, my grave mistake was turning the radio back on. About 20 minutes later, they were reading the news and talking about Joplin, MO and JOHN RICH WINNING CELEBRITY APPRENTICE! My howl of disappointment was loud enough to send all the kids skidding into the kitchen.</p>
<p>Why the heck can’t they say “(x show) SPOILER ALERT- if you don’t want to know, cover your ears!” Sheesh, so annoying!</p>
<p>I’ve never seen an apprentice show until a couple of weeks ago, and only watched then because of John Rich. Many of you have indicated you never heard of him before. He was part of a duo called ‘Big and Rich’. I believe they broke up a couple of years ago because of Big’s health problems, but I loved their music (search for them on youtube). JR was also a judge on the CMT version of ‘american idol’. </p>
<p>But if you don’t know him, you’re not the only one! When John McCain was running for president, JR accompanied his entourage (I guess maybe he was the campaign’s official entertainer). I know this because I happened upon an internet site maintained by John McCain’s daughter tour which documented the campaign . JR was in several of the captioned pictures, and the daughter basically came out and said, I don’t know who that guy is!</p>
<p>I’m very impressed with John Rich and I’m glad he won. I’m also impressed with Marlee, Lil John, and a few others. </p>
<p>It’s kind of interesting to see the personalities of the celebrities in this light. I think viewers won’t be able to help but to no longer see some of these celebrities in the same way once they see what their true personalities are like.</p>

Gary Busey I liked okay but I can see that he’d be a challenge (but interesting) to hang around with. I think he’s a good guy though.</p>
<p>Meat Loaf is unstable. A basically good guy but someone with no grasp whatsoever on his emotions. He needs more therapy.</p>
<p>Jose was on/off for me on his personality.</p>
