I think it is ironic that Star threw such a fit about Meatloaf calling her “Sweetie” or whatever when I seem to recall her saying either earlier in the same show or on an earlier show “Meatloaf, honey…” I actually noticed it at the time because I found it a bit phoney coming from Star.

On a lighter note, who found it cute when LaToya got fired and exited the building and the blocks on the street lighted up when she stepped on them like Billie Jean?

^^^ That was hilarious. My 16yo didn’t get it.

I hope that the two Johns make the cut. I watched the show again and clueless as to how Marlee contributed during the last task especially as PM. Lil John and John Rich have earned my respect at their creativity throughout each task. Very impressive.

If you look at the clip for next week, it does appear the one of the backbone men will be fired which is not fair IMHO.

Update: Lil’ John has just been fired.

L’l John was too modest. I was rooting for him all the way. All the final 4 were impressive.

I agree. He was actually 50/50, aggressive, but knew when to pull back.

I think it’s cool they brought back certain people earlier from the show. 70’s vs. 80’s? Hmmmm…

I missed all but the last 20 minutes or so. Worth going back to watch it, seeing as I now know who the final two are?

Loved the final 4 show, and I will be absolutely shocked if John Rich doesn’t win it all. How can he not? All final 4 players named him as the one they thought they should compete against in the final. That did not go unnoticed by Trump. Marlee has not been able to control Meat Loaf, again, in this the last task of the season. Having said that, Marlee was most deserving of the final 2 spot, but I think John Rich is just too strong of a competitor and the most respected by all the other contestants.

I have been so impressed with him. Not only is he smart but he is polite and well spoken. I hope he wins! I can’t really understand why Trump chose to bring back Richard Hatch (or Latoya, for that matter.)

I liked Lil John and would have liked for this to come down to the 2 Johns but I knew as soon as he stated in the interviews with Piers, etc. that he wouldn’t be selected for the final 2 he blew it and wouldn’t be selected. On that show you have to be your strongest advocate.

The final usually has a number of previous players called back to help the final 2. Hatch was probably available as long as he wasn’t in jail and he controversial enough to possibly bring saome drama to the show which is what show biz is about to some extent.

I hope John Rich wins it.

Youdon’tsay - I think it’s worth watching the final 20 minutes. After they selected the final 2 they got started on the next task with the final 2 with their helpers. If you don’t watch it you’ll miss some context for the final show next time. This final 20 minutes is post-selection of the final 2.

It definitely seemed like John Rich got a lot better helpers than Marlee. It will be interesting to see the final product.

Just finished watching online. Both projects look good right now – cool packaging, neat commercial ideas.

Well, I think he made the right choice.

First season I’ve ever really watched the show. Marlee’s group’s execution of final project was much better than John’s…except graphic “grab” of can. However…over the course of the show…John’s management, and his contributions when he wasn’t project manager, were outstanding.

Overall I think that John Rich was the best choice. I know that Marlee can’t help but to believe that his last minute fundraising had something to do with his winning (if I were in her position I’d be likely to think that as well). I was a little surprised that Dionne didn’t show up last night – and that Nene did.

John Rich made two mistakes in the final last night (not greeting Trump and the Execs upon arrival and not coordinating the start time better with the band). The money he raised last night, along with his performance, was only the icing to a darn near perfect season by any contestant-- ever.

I think the only thing that could have jeopardized JR from NOT winning was if he was a no-show for the final task. Marlee did a great job but her effectiveness as a manager, at times, gets called into question when she must lead a team.

When even LaToya, who was on Marlee’s team, picked John – well, it’s obvious who should have won.

I hadn’t noticed Dionne wasn’t there. Good riddance.

I wasn’t planning to even watch this season, and, in fact, didn’t watch the first episode. But it ended up being really entertaining and let the world know how smart John Rich – and several other people – are.

And where was Jose Conseco?

Since he left under odd conditions, I’m not surprised that he didn’t show up.

I did think the ending was weird, when Trump said that he was going to do something different. I guess the different thing was not firing Marlee?
