With veggie dogs you can have all of the fun toppings and condiments with none of the gross stuff.
But a veggie dog IS gross.

Never had it, but pimento cheese on a hot dog is supposedly a thing.
A co-worker likes his hot dogs deep fried until it’s very well done.

Don’t eat either one often anymore BUT
My perfect hamburger - meat patty, cooked medium well, ketchup, lettuce, cheese (swiss or cheddar), and raw onion slice on a seeded bun.
My perfect hot dog – Hebrew National hot dog on a bun with brown (preferably horseradish) mustard.

I think this thread inspired me to buy some all beef hot dogs last week, and I may have one today, IF I don’t decide to go out with my H and his friend.

We are having burgers on the grill tonight and all day I’ve been dreaming of the heirloom tomato I bought specifically to have on my burger!
I hope it can live up to my expectation!!!

We rarely eat hot dogs, but we decided to grill them today to kick off the holiday weekend a bit early. We had Koegel viennas & grilled the buns, diced sweet onions, and topped them with Vollwerth’s Michigan Sauce. So good!
