I really like these flats! I bet they will be comfortable unlike the vast majority of flats out there.
Cool kicks! Give us a fashion show when you get them! I’d be worried they’d make my 9.5/10 size feet look like canoes ![]()
LOL … my husband wears size 13 narrow shoes. We’ve joked that you could consider them large shoes. Or small canoes.
I have to be careful - especially with sneakers. I recently tried a pair of the Veja Campo that I loved in every way except that they made my feet look enormous. No Hoka’s for the same reason.
At the moment, I’m really pissed at Bloomies. I ordered a cashmere blazer-style sweater size M. What arrived in the mail was a very ugly cardigan in size XXL with a tag that said M!!
I hope I can return the wrong item, but I think I will have to fight them a bit. Hate that!
I had the strangest thing happen this week
I placed an order with Talbots for some clearance items. I think I ordered 4 items, shipped in 3 packages
I received 2 items the third package I just received the shipping label. Just the label. If I had to guess, they forgot to peel off the shipping label and stick it on the package. So I got just the label, no package
I put an inquiry to investigate this but I’m annoyed. I’ve never had this happen. Of course it was the most expensive thing. We will see if they will refund me. I’ve been a very loyal customer.
Wow. That is not cool. Hope you get a refund without any problems.
I wanted to buy a pair of relatively expensive boots from Bloomies to score the reward $$. Now I’m hesitant. Can’t ship them to the store which I usually do with Nordstrom.
Perfect boots for both places!
We just left Munich, and were in Salzburg last weekend. Chelsea boots are very popular, as are trainers. So many in tracht for Oktoberfest with trainers of all brands on their feet. There was a woman at a restaurant the other night wearing these boots. Marchacroche Duna Botta - 95 mm Boots - Calf leather - Black - Women - Christian Louboutin United States
Not a fan.
Online shopping DOES tire me out sometimes. I get overwhelmed quickly and walk away unless it’s a store that I know the product really well. What do you think? Do you enjoy a catalog???
I buy all my clothes and many other things online (catalogues…same thing).
I once ordered something from Nordstrom, I can’t remember what it was supposed to be, but I got big ole men’s shoes, and that’s definitely NOT what it was supposed to be It was no probably at all - I took them in and they dealt with it appropriately.
I like to flip through a catalog.
Calling in can resolve a lot of issues upfront and minimize returns. A knowledgeable salesperson can answer questions that may not be easy answered by reading online descriptions.
You’re probably right - however I’ll admit I’ll avoid at all costs having to call and talk to any customer service person - I truly HATE phone exchanges!
Talbots did refund my money and offered to let me buy the items I didn’t receive at the sale price.
I’m happy
Awesome! Same here. I went to our Bloomies, and the nice salesperson took care of the refund and ordered the correct item at the discounted price I paid. ![]()
OK friends. The Quince leather jacket arrived today and I love it. Very nice quality.
I ordered my usual size (medium) and the fit is perfect over a light/medium weight top or light sweater. You might want to size up if you plan to wear over a heavy sweaters or a sweatshirt.
Awesome! I bet you will rock it!
@FallGirl - I’m excited about your leather jacket! It looks great on their website.
We’ve talked a little about Quince on this thread and I wanted to share about the things I’ve tried. Regarding the cashmere sweaters, I did get one of their 50$ v-neck sweaters and I like the color and it feels fine, but it’s not particularly special. On the other hand, I have a few of the sweaters that are around 80$ (the boatneck and crewneck ones) and they are significantly softer and feel higher quality. They have held up well so far. I also have one Mongolian cashmere tee and I like that.
Other than sweaters I did get a pair of their 50$ Bella relaxed jeans and two leather purses (one a larger every day bag and a smaller cross body bag) and I have been happy with the quality and styles. I also had one customer service issue and they resolved it well. Overall, I’ve been impressed with Quince.
Glad you like it!
How thin/thick is the leather? I like my leather jackets to be buttery soft which usually means thinner leather.
It seems heavy but the leather seems thin ish.
It’s very soft, not stiff at all.
