Very cute bag. It looks fairly similar to this Quince bag I have (I end up using it all the time). Maybe it will tide you over until you decide to buy the expensive one!

Yesterday was picture perfect at Mission Beach even though the forecast was less promising. The sun is starting to break out now on Point Loma. We get a lot of marine layer on the point when it’s clearly sunny just half a mile or so inland, and up the coast. Our windows look south and north, and we can see east and west from the back yard. So we get an idea of weather in all directions! I guess the point is you just can’t predict the sun but the temperatures are pretty reliable. And it does feel coolish once the sun starts going down.

I’m obsessing over this bag by Chloe called Marcie. While I have been drooling over it for several years, the price almost doubled! So yeah, I was not getting it back then, and I’m not getting it now because my salary hasn’t doubled in that period!

Does anyone have these cropped linen pants from Quince?
I’m wondering how if they are bunchy/full or lay more flat on the lower abdomen. I sure don’t want to be adding bulk there!
I don’t have those but I have their linen shorts. The fabric is pretty light weight, and based on the style I would think they would not be very bulky in the abdomen.

Speaking of linen pants, I finally found a pair that looks like linen but is NOT linen!! Crazy expensive but worth every penny for not having to endure wrinkles! I found them at a boutique that carried this brand (I see that Anthologie also has some of its clothes but not this pant). Tried on the S and M and went with the latter because it felt more relaxed. The length was perfect for my 5’ 6” height!

I don’t think it’s too young. Eyelet can feel that way, but this isn’t ruffly, puffy, or baby doll-ish. I like it!

I love eyelet. I personally don’t have the legs to wear a dress that short, but I would if I did!! I love a fit and flare shape!
