Dressing Young 2026

I love both Print Fresh and Bedhead. My only advice is pick ones you like because they don’t wear out.

I have a couple of pairs of Cat’s Pajamas, good for lounging , but too hot to sleep in for me.

I’ve gotten some fabulous pajamas from Garnet Hill. They’re on the pricey side but I usually buy them on sale. I’ve liked every pair I’ve gotten from them but currently I’m deeply in love with their linen pjs for summer.

My son and his wife like Petite Plume, and I have started buying them for me/asking for them too. I used to have another brand I really liked, but they’ve gone down in quality/I haven’t purchased them in years.

I’m guessing my Athleta racer running shorts and whatever comfy tshirt sort of matches them doesn’t count?. Yep, that’s what I wear 365 nights a year to sleep and lounge! (Throw an extra comfy warmer top on for the lounging part in the winter). I seriously haven’t worn actually pjs in decades. Does that make me “young”?

I have 2 pairs of Costco flannel-like polyester PJs and a pair of LLBean cotton flannel PJs. I get cold when I sleep, so like having the option of the button down top to put over a tshirt as desired. I’ve not done well with the shorts or dress PJs.

I really like the pair my daughter gave me several years ago from Lake. Still soft and comfy.

Everything else I wear is made up of the sets of 4 (shorts, crop pants, tee, and cami) from Costco. Inexpensive, easy to wash, and I don’t care if I spill coffee down my front.

I have some of them and I’ve worn them a lot more than 5 times. I usually wear them under a bralette and wash them when I they’re removed. My mastectomy left me with headlights that are always on haha, and I loathe bras with removable pads.

I’m not a pajama person. I much prefer nightgowns. One day I had a lightbulb moment: I spend good 7-8 hours a day, 365 days a year in my nightgown! Why was I buying cheap ones? So I treated myself to a couple of Hanro Moments. That was a decade ago. Still use my Hanros!

Before my daughter bought me the Eberjey set I wore shorts from Costco and an old tired tank. Once I tried the pajamas I loved the feel.
I might order a linen top and short from Garnet Hill. I was looking at the linen ones on Eberjey but they are more expensive.

I need a really light material and don’t like shorts. Right now I am wearing some from GAP that work well. I’ve also had some from Eberjey but as others mentioned, pricey. My daughter got me a short-sleeved set from Cozy Earth that are super soft but still too heavy for me. I may try them again this winter.

My daughter has a few sets from Skims that she lived in during the weeks after giving birth. She said they are very light and comfortable.

I like traditional pajama style pj’s, especially in cooler weather.

I have a few pair of Soma cool nights as well as a few from Cozy Earth. The CE are softer, but pricier so I buy on sale.

Ha! Workout shorts and concert tees for me, add sweatshirt/pants in the winter. I do have some real pajamas but rarely wear them.

Skip the bottoms, just (old, no-longer-worn-in-daytime) tees for me.

During first summer of Covid (early retirement), I ordered a wonderful knit cotton spaghetti-straps short nightgown. With pockets… so I don’t loose my phone. I probably wear it 80% of nights, including now on vacation.
