I just bought these - in both colors. Their airy denim feels like I am wearing pajamas and is nice & light for summer/fall in the South. I was able to get the lighter color in the short, before it sold out. I think I could have sized down so I ordered the darker color in one size smaller but in the standard length because the short was sold out (27", which is still fine on me). I’m hoping the lighter color comes back in my size in the short length.

I really like those jeans, but they look like ankle length not cropped on the model.

I returned to Boscov’s and got the denim shorts folks here gave the thumbs up to a while back (thanks!).
While there couldn’t resist getting some wide-leg khakis in olive green (fav clothing color). Super comfy but not sure if they too funky or ‘trying too hard to be youthful’?

I ordered candles from quince. They were reasonably priced, the scents seemed interesting. The reviews were very good
Got them, burned one, it has no scent.
I don’t know if I’ve been very unlucky with my quince orders or if that brand is not for me.
I’m contemplating returning because what is the use of candles that don’t have any smell. How do you return candles anyways?

I would reach out and share your displeasure with the product and see if they offer a solution. A refund or credit or something. They may not require you to send back!
I’ve only ordered clothing and bags (oh, and earrings) and had no issues!

Thank you, @gardenstategal! I think my daughter meant ‘not what I’d usually wear’ (extra wide pants, ties in the side). But I was wondering if it also meant ‘unusual for your age’ - hence the posting here, lol.
Thanks @Colorado_mom! Most regular length pants are a little short on me, so I’m always thrilled to find something that touches the ground (memories of having to wear outgrown short pants in junior high still linger lol). Will wear clogs so these should be good.

I think the picture shows the “standard” length, which are an ankle length on me as well. The “short” length, which I have in the lighter wash, is 2 inches shorter - so more of a cropped look.

I did chat with quince about the candles. I was told they have a layer of unscented wax so I needed to burn for 3 hours before I would smell the scent.
I’m trying that. I think the description or the reviews would mention that but I didn’t see it. I’ve never experienced it with other candles

Wow, that’s unusual for a candle but makes sense. The unscented wax seals the scent in preventing the candles from releasing it during storage or shipping. But they absolutely have to mention this in the description!

Thanks, conmama! I enjoy this thread because I’m sometimes not sure where the line is for ‘youthful but not pushing it’
E.g., I’m in the northeast and humidity has turned my (color-treated) hair into a frizzy, fried mess. I gave up the other day and put it into pigtails, topped with a baseball cap. Hair situation better but wondered “does this just look ridiculous?” LOL
