Your post prompted me to check out The Rack website… which reminded me we have a new store in town.
I checked out under-$25 sale and was tempted by this cardigan in navy ($19.99, darn - not in store). Or maybe black ($29.97 available in store… not that I don’t already have other black sweaters, but this Adrianna Papel style is appealing)

What a bummer. Looks like I will get an opportunity to go to that mall this week, so will check it out! We decided to tackle the remodel of the kiddie bathroom ourselves and need to order a vanity, and R&B located in that mall has some that possibly would work for us!
Just got a few ads in my FB feed telling me that nude tights are back!

I was looking for a cute “retro” looking sneaker for our trip to see our GD and go leaf peeping. I ordered these today which look really cute. Of course I didn’t really need another pair of shoes.

Would you wear this to a 5:00 pm church wedding in early November where the dress code is, “formal”??
I’m struggling with what to wear. I know I’m picky and kind of hard to fit. To be honest, I don’t like the neckline on this, and I’m not fond of sleeveless given my crinkly/wrinkly upper arms on the underneath side.
I don’t want any beading or embellishments. I think 5:00 pm is too early for that. I don’t want velvet or stretch velvet (sorry, my upbringing simply won’t allow that until after Thanksgiving). I’m only 5’4”, but petite proportions don’t work on me because I have such a long torso. I’m pretty small-framed, so a full skirt or lots of fabric anywhere kind of overwhelms me. I need some sort of definition at the waist - at least a seam. I really don’t want to wear black. That is what the MOB is wearing. I just couldn’t do it at 5:00 pm even if she weren’t wearing black. I don’t like black for weddings unless the bride requests it. (To be honest, I think the MOB is sending a signal. The groom is Canadian, and that is where they are moving). Bridesmaids are wearing dusty blue.
There will be dancing at the reception, so I want something that is easy to move in.
I feel like with, “formal,” I need a full-length gown.

I think you would look stunning in that dress! Throw on a pashmina to cover your arms if you are self conscious and you are all set!

Gorgeous! Is any short dress truly considered “formal”? Seems you have to go with a longer dress. Maybe try the neckline and see how it feels to you?
