They have an Ann Taylor. Try there as well as the white house Black Market. They also have Chicos and the Ann Taylor. Good luck. They do not have dress barn there.
Dress Barn says it is now Roz and Ali on the door, but will try them first since I am standing in front of them. I am a bonehead!
Thank you for sharing the link to the bracelets. Nice selection & good prices!
I love bracelets but will not drop big bucks on something like that.
Hit Macys or Dress Barn for the dress. Both always have a decent selection of dressy dresses.
Dang, dang, dang…Dress Barn is closing??? I finally found a line of jeans that I really like. They fit well, wear well and are inexpensive.
Off to their website, time to hoard jeans.
I’m starting to take this discontinuation of stuff I like personally. It seems that if I ‘discover’ a product and then fall in love it gets discontinued. Boy do I have a bad track record with hair products.
@abasket now you have me really wanting that sandal. I’m going to see if my Teva source can find it for me.
@dietz199 - I am with you on the hair care stuff! I have hoarded a few bottles of Kerastase shampoo (store it in airtight, dark, cool space).
So i was lucky and found something in roz and ali (dress barn). Got a black jumpsuit with a little chiffon overlay and sequined straps and on the sleeves. Thought it would be too dressy, but not at all. Killing time as this is one of those weddings that has a 2 hour time before the reception staets, ugh. Got a cute black purse in Calvin Klein while waiting for the uber for 60% off! Thanks all for the recomendation to go into dress barn/roz and ali.
@dietz199, i didnt ask but i got the sense that it is juat a name change so hopefully they will still carry your jeans.
@conmama oh I like those cuff bracelets! And a good price point and good reviews.
@CottonTales - great find. Enjoy your evening!
Phew, glad it worked out @CottonTales!
@surfcity , they are very good quality, too! Glad you liked them.
Has anyone here tried Sarah Flint pumps or flats?
Curious about the Sarah Flint shoes as well. I’ve seem a couple of bloggers pushing them. They are expensive. I’ve tried M Gemi shoes before and think they are a good value for the quality. Direct to consumer, made in Italy, free shipping/returns, and lower price point than Sarah Flint.
Haven’t tried them but they look nice and comfortable. My life is pretty casual so I don’t feel a strong desire to try them. Let us know if you try them and what you think.
I’ll have to look at MGemi.
Thanks all! I think I am going to get a pair of flats from Farfetch and then provide my review. I just bought a pair of Paul Green pointy toe flats and was disappointed that they were too flat for my feet. The search for a perfect pair of flats continues.
Has anyone tried the new style of Allbirds? It’s called Tree Breezer and looks like a ballet flat. They look cute. The email says they come in half sizes. I would be curious how the sizing compares to the sneaker.
I had a conversation recently with a friend who I used to shop with a lot when we actually had stores with merchandise in them. We were saying how different it is with so many direct to market companies. The whole experience of shopping and building a wardrobe has changed. Same could also probably be said for home furnishings as well. I still can’t imagine ordering a couch or a table without seeing it in person. I’m sure I’m going to have to adjust to that idea soon enough.
Still have not ordered the flats, but just blew a bunch of money at Saks on several clearance dresses. Let’s see if they can find them… Sometimes, their inventory is not updated fast enough. Kind of nervous because Saks’ clearance is final sale, but the deals were too good to pass.
Our S admitted he buys most of his shoes on eBay from folks who only wore them a few times and decided they didn’t like them. He says they’re sold so much cheaper when gently used. He was wearing a pair of black Allbirds yesterday and that started the conversation.
I’ve always been nervous about buying or wearing used shoes but may have to reconsider.
